One of a kind, hand reclaimed fashion! A vintage Army jacket is made into a piece of wearable art with an authentic Hermes scarf.
Here's a little history of your special jacket. The jacket itself is an authentic vintage army uniform. The jacket still has its original chest and arm patch. The gorgeous scarf on this jacket, Les Cles by Caty Latham, was first issued in 1965. At the center of this scarf, is an eighteenth-century pink velvet and gold purse surrounded by keys - 47 to be exact! This little purse was part of Emile Hermes' vast collection of objects, statues, paintings and objects d'art, which he had collected during his lifetime and which became the inspiration to many early scarves. The hand rolled edges of each scarf are preserved when possible so some edges may not be sewn onto the jacket. "Hermes-Paris" and "© Hermes" are both visible on the front - two marks all Hermes scarf aficionados look for captured on a jacket! Interestingly, Les Cles is one of very few Hermes scarves that was not signed by the artist. The jacket and scarf are in vintage or preloved condition and may show flaws, wear, and stains.
